Ubuntu 10.04 - сломалась мышка

Перестала работать левая кнопка мышки. Есть USB мышка . Какой пакет нужен для USB мыщки чтоб поменять мышку .? Попробовал подключить -не работает USB мышка.

А сама мышь рабочая?
Должно сразу заработать, безовсяких пакетов.

Рабочая. - на буке работает. А тут воткнул - курсор стоит.

покажите содержимое /etc/X11/xorg.conf

сам впервые такое вижу - нет его и в наутилиусе под рутом его нет

Стоит ХР дебиан и убунта

Мышка оптическая иногда не срабатывает левая кнопка ( подергал в разьёме и иногда работает- через раз)
Убунту обновляю всегда.
В винде тоже через раз - куплю другую

только сначала по железу дайте ответ...

Но, IMHO, проблема «железная».

Попробовал USB мышку в дебиане выдал ( or tupe Control-D to continue): (105.816974) usb 2-3: USB disconnect
Ставил систему с PS/2 мышкой и в дебиане тоже не грузит .
Подергал разьём - лучше стало , иногда не с 1 раза отклик мыши.

материнка помирает?

Куда xorg.config делся ,не найду

Поставил мышку с другой машины - работает . Проблема в самой мышке. А как же USB мышку включить можно?

В последних версиях xorg conf файл не обязателен, но чтобы его создать выполните комманду
[console]
Xorg -configure
[/console]
Вроде надо с правами администратора...
