Как убрать тиринг на lubuntu?

Имеются:
nvidia-settings 331.20
openbox
compton 0.1beta --vsync=*любая настройка*
В итоге есть и тиринг, как убрать? Можно и без compton

dynastini, ну для начала нужно создать файл xorg.conf командой
[console=root]nvidia-xconfig[/console]
После открыть на редактирование и вписать в секцию "Screen" вот эу строчку:

text
Option         "TripleBuffer" "1"

и
[console=root]nvidia-xconfig[/console]
Перезапустить иксы. Должно сработать.

Строчку прописал, перезагрузился, вижу разрешение экрана 640х480. Зашел в nvidia-settings, выставил 1920х1080. Перезагрузился, настройка xorg слетела. Прописал опять, перезагрузился, тиринг присутствует. А точно после моих манипуляций, nvidia-settings использует нужный xorg.conf? Если да, то видимо опция не сработала(

Добавлю, что mesa-ulits запускаются все без vsyc, а, например, teeworlds на вертикальную синхронизацию не реагирует - тиринг есть. Вообще погуглив, нашел, что все советуют включить настройку vsync в nvidia-settings, её не заметил.

Так nvidia иои комбинированая? Почитала гугл - это таки nvidia. :) А почему у вас там столько записей? А напишите просто - nvidia. Как-то так:

ну у меня не только карточка nvidia, еще есть intel hd4000, поэтому несколько записей. Как подсказал кирилов, файл сгенерирован nvidia-xconfig. Вопрос один: как включить vsync?

dynastini, ну в nvidia settings необходимо поставить галочку. Попробуй удалить xorg.conf командой
[console=root]rm -f /etc/X11/xorg.conf[/console]
И пересозать командой nvidia-xconfig. Полученный xorg.conf вложи сюда.

dynastini, другое дело. Теперь вписать в секцию "Screen" вот эу строчку:

и
[console=root]nvidia-xconfig[/console]
Перезапуск иксов или перезагрузка.

Я так думаю, пусть останется только nvidia. Да, будет есть аккумулятор. Да и ладно. Ничего не надо пересоздавать, работает у меня этот xorg.conf, взять его за основу и чуть-чуть подправить. Пусть пока работает nvidia.

ksuha, от тирига спасает тройная буфферизация (строчка Option "TripleBuffer" "1"). А nvidia-xconfig нужен, чтобы xorg.conf был правильным (в смысле если строчка стоит не на своем месте, то он ее перенест в нужную секцию).

Не обязательно, но желательно сделать. Попробуйте повторить все с начала:
1) Удалить xorg.conf
[console=root]rm -f /etc/X11/xorg.conf[/console]
2) Создать xorg.conf
[console=root]nvidia-xconfig[/console]
3) Добавить в секцию "Screen" строчку, отвечающую за тройную буфферезацию
[console=root]nano /etc/X11/xorg.conf[/console]
и вручную добавить

4) Проверить валидность xorg.conf и исправить ошибки командой
[console=root]nvidia-xconfig[/console]
5) Перезапустить иксы или перезагрузится.
