Доброго времени суток! Стоит Ubuntu 13.04. Видео: nvidia gts 450
ПК не загружается с первого раза! после загрузки Ubuntu появляется чёрный экран и приходится перезагружать комп. В консоль не заходит, гуглил - проблемма не решилась.Помогите пожалуиста.

westfall, начнём по порядку.
Как устанавливали? Драйвера на видео какие ставили?
Wolfenberg, Драйвера проприетарные nVidia 313, устанавливал с лайф сиди.
Такой же глюк наблюдался и в убунту 13.10
westfall, в Ubuntu 13.04 стабильная версия была 310, насколько я помню.
Вообще там обычно на выбор предлагается: стабильная версия, кривая версия и обновление до суперкривой версии (для тестеров).
Так же есть такой глюк - если первые установки и обновления делаются не через графику,
то система может не запуститься после перезагрузки.
Wolfenberg, я перепробовал все драйвера, и стабильные и нет, косился на иксы, потом на железо, но с железом всё в порядке, с иксами вроде тож норм.
Дело в том что если комп запустился, он работает нормально, глюки идут при первой загрузке, после того как ПК был выключен длительное время.
westfall, а оперативную память проверяли?
У меня - GT 440. Подобных "чудес" не было, если только своими силами не творил.

Wolfenberg, 4 гига памяти, 2 гига видеокарта, установлена убунту х64, материнская плата asus m5, процессор атлон2 х3 по 3.2 ггц
попробуйте в грубе в опцих загрузки ядра прописать nomodeset
Харитон, я прошу прощения, а не могли бы вы мне подсказать что именно означает эта опция, и в какой именно строчке её прописывать?

Лог показывает абсолютно нормальный старт иксов, проблем с видео не замечено.
yars, в какую тогда сторону копать?
Удивительно что глючит только при включении, вот сегодня включился с пятого раза...
