Убунту Линукс 11.10 установка проприетарного драйвера

И снова всем не спящим знатокам вопрос. По какой причине может быть проблема с установкой проприетарного драйвера на видеокарту (оговорка, систему обновлял). В чем суть проблемы пока что не знаю, и хочу у Вас спросить:
При попытке установки драйвера вылетает ошибка "Извините, установка этого драйвера не удалась.

Пожалуйста, обратитесь к файлу журнала для получения дополнительных сведений: /var/log/jockey.log"

что я должен найти в этом "логе"? спасибо за помощ ;)

а старый драйвер удалять на видеокарту (ранее светился не активным, а после реинстала) стал зеленым светится...

В общем правильно нужно было поступить так:

sudo apt-get --purge remove fglrx*
sudo apt-get install fglrx-updates fglrx-amdcccle-updates

Типа старый драйвер не нужен.

Результат показать:
