Установили sles11 на х3550. Все отлично прошло. Но теперь изображение ужасное, ни черта не видно. Думали обновить драйвера видеокарты. Но на сайте ATI нет такового. Как поступить в данном случае?

Подключите репазитарий с драйвером ATI.

А вообще лучше искать не по названию видеокарты, а по чипу, который установлен.

Упс, коллега не заметил, у Вас же sles11, а я Вам репазитарии для openSuse предлагаю. Вы купили этот дистрибьютив или в плане экспериментов используете? Если купили, то Вам должны быть доступны репазитарии Novell.

Странно, а я нашёл:

According to radeon(4), this is an rv100, i.e. essentially a Radeon 7000.

Тот кто ищёт, то всегда находит, теперь Вам коллега, осталось поискать драйвер Radeon 7000 под Linux, ну или на чип rv100, тут уж далее сами wink

Потому что это старый драйвер, ещё вроде с catalist 6 он был, нужно искать в архивах. Както пару раз натыкался я на сайт ATI где выложены старые их драйвера, поищите по сети. Кстати, а опробовать MESA драйвер не хотите? 3D точно не будет, но работоспособность графики должна быть. smile

Чипсет то видео у нас оказывается ATI RN50

Народ, очень нужны дрова для видеокарты. Radeon7000 (VE), RN50/ES1000, RV100
Только из-за этого не могу продвинуться в настройках сервака.
Может есть ссылки, а то весь инет прошарил, все дрова в основном для винды. Для linux(sles) ничего нет
