Удалил swap раздел через gparted. удалил строку swap в fstab.

a start job is running for dev-disk-.... - смотрим что написано тут вместо точек у Вас
потом когда система загрузится смотрим логи
[console]sudo cat /var/log/boot.log[/console]
Потом смотрим вывод:
[console]sudo lsblk -f [/console]
Нам нужен UUID
На основе этого возвращаемся в /etc/fstab (у некоторых /etc/crypttab)
[console]sudo nano /etc/fstab[/console]
Перепроверяем что нет ничего лишнего и не существующего.
Все лишнее комментируем с помощью #

решено. в yast - загрузчик - параметры ядра - доп параметр ком строки
удалил запись
splash=silent resume=/dev/disk/by-id/ata-Samsung_SSD_850_120GB_S3WBNF0JB33018H-part3 quiet
загрузка пошла нормально
