Доброго времени суток. После обновления KDE 4 до KDE 5 с оф. репозиториев(сейчас подключен репозиторий KDE-unstable, версия KDE 5.2) появилась проблема с кириллицей. В терминале вместо символов знаки вопросов, также не отображаются имена файлов и папок в Dolphin (в PCManFM названия отображаются корректно, но не создаются новые файлы с названиями на кириллице).

Спасибо всем за помощь, оказалось все достаточно банально. Еще не проверил полностью решил проблему или нет, но после добавления в файл ~/bashrc этих строк в терминале символы отображаются корректно и в файловом менеджере названия исправились. Возможно есть решение лучше?

Файл /etc/environment посмотрите уж вручную.
Там после команды должно быть только из незакомментированного:
