Проблема с кодеками в VLC

Установил VLC из офф репозитория, но не хватает некоторых кодеков. Нашёл, что советуют ставить VLC из репов packman. Что вы думаете?

Подключил следующие репозитории:

Видео всё-равно не воспроизводится, а звук есть.

При открытии видео в формате mkv

Я это вылечил по озвученному тут совету: запилил libx264-135 и libx264-135-32bit.
libx264-135-32bit поставил отсюда http://pkgs.org/opensuse-13.1/packman/libx264-135-32bit-0.135svn20130723-2.5.x86_64.rpm.html

Теперь я хоть через VLC могу видео нормально смотреть. Правда есть еще полосы еле заметные. Сейчас у меня радеон и свободный дравер, а когда-то лечил такую проблему на нвидиа включением vsync to blank (вертикальной синхронизации). Как быть с радеоном пока не понял. Даже драйвер проприетарный для моей hd 3400 поставить не могу.

Отключить нужно официальный репозитарий VLC предварительно... Так как неизбежно наличие конфликтов...
После отключение произвести принудительную переустановку пакетов vlc и нужного кодека...

VLC - есть в репозитарии pacman.

Проверить наличие косяка можно запустив например Kaffeine он будет воспроизводить без проблем. А вот VLC нет, пока не будет наведен порядок в репозитариях.
