Всем хаюшки и с наступающим! Проблема такова. Поствил генту, собрал иксы, делаю startx а оно мне выдает:

Вроде бы всю инфу предоставил. В гугл ходил, в основном проблема рашается пересборкой ядра и включением поддержки intel драйверов.

единственное что не включено CONFIG_DRM_I915_KMS , это имеете значение ?

Эта опция служит для автоматического выбора «правильного» разрешения консоли.

xorg.conf у меня нет. Читал, что в новых иксах не нужен. Кстати почему-то нет директории xorg.conf.d или она создается при первом старте иксов ?
Еще я делал так

Xorg -configure ; Xorg -config ~/xorg.conf.new

результат тот же.

она создаётся пользователем, когда ему надо что-то сконфигурировать...

попробуйте по старинке: Xorg -configure && X -config /root/xorg.conf.new; sleep 60 && killall X
всё от root'а

не совпадает. Драйвер не подхватывает что ли.

и rc-status покажите...

Если вы про udev, то он стартует в sysinit
