Скрипт: запускается консоль а в ней команда

Подскажите, как создать скрипт чтобы запускался сначала xterm, а в нем определенная команда.
Вот пример, но не работает:
#!/bin/bash
/usr/bin/xterm
/usr/каталог/исполняемый_файл
