Монтирование диска на вирт машине

Доброе утро, я все с тем же вопросом, подскажите почему я не могу примонтировать диск на виртуальной машине дебиан

Делаю

[console]
mount -t ext4 /dev/sdb /mnt/sdb_120GB/
[/console]

пишет:

вот что показывает fdisk -l

sdb - это виртуальный диск?
По ходу он не размечен.

да это виртуальный диск. а как можно его разметить?

С помощью fdisk, а если установлено то cfdisk /dev/sdb

Или через gparted.

разметил тоже самое

Вы разметили, а форматировать кто будет.?
[console]mkfs.ext4 /dev/sdb1[/console]
После этого монтируйте.

Для этого нужно внести запись в /etc/fstab, тока я не знаю как у вас там записи идут по разделах или UUID. Покажыте вывод

из под рута.

Нужно выяснить сначала UUID раздела /dev/sdb1
[console]blkid /dev/sdb1[/console]
И потом полученый UUID вписываете в /etc/fstab
[console]UUID="раздела_/dev/sdb1" /mnt/sdb_120GB ext4 defaults 1 1[/console]
Как то так.

Если нужно какието особенные опцыи монтирования, defaults заменить на нужные опцыи.

Я это написал спецыально в скобках, чтобы всё это заменить на нужный UUID. Вот так нужно
[console]UUID=0a389c6c-0115-4266-838e-81697065d3f0 /mnt/sdb_120GB ext4 defaults 1 1[/console]

Лишнее, fstab доступен на чтение, а вот для записи уже нужны права рута.
