Не получить информацию о hdd

smartctl -a /dev/sdb выводит следующую информацию:

Искал данную проблему в сети ничего не нашёл. В чём может быть проблема?

Ну и что непонятного? Программа ищет его на сказях, а он юсби.

Пробуйте опции:

-d usbcypress
-d usbjmicron
-d usbsunplus
-d sat

Но вполне может и не поддерживаться.

Скорее всего через usb нет возможности просмотра smart. Нужно в сам sata-контроллер подключать.
