Не работает Cpufreq

установил mandriva 2011, судя по всему не заводиться intel speedstep, и частота проца постоянно на максимуме (судя по powertop). Что предпринять??

в Win температура при простое 36 C, в Mandriva 60 C. Помогите братцы

Заработало, спасибо. А как сделать чтобы оно само загружалось. и как выставить настройки, чтобы менялась частота процессора???

С мандривой я конечно мало знаком - не работал толком с ней. Так что чем смог, тем помог smile
В общем, после каждой перезагрузки Вам нужно будет подгружать через modprobe этот acpi-cpufreq вручную, если не сделать его автозапуск. Попробуйте добавить его (acpi-cpufreq) в
[console]/etc/modprobe.preload[/console]
Вообще, еще нужно установить все же cpufrequtils после чего должно стать доступным следующее:
[console]cat /etc/conf.d/cpufreq
#configuration for cpufreq control

# valid governors:
# ondemand, performance, powersave,
# conservative, userspace
governor="ondemand"

# limit frequency range (optional)
# valid suffixes: Hz, kHz (default), MHz, GHz, THz

Вот именно здесь нужно раскомментировать строку governor="ondemand" после чего частота будет регулироваться автоматически в зависимости от нагрузки. Можно также здесь выставить мин/макс. частоту вручную, но при этой опции совсем не обязательно.

Кроме того, Вы можете вручную установить этот режим ondemand (действовать будет до перезагрузки)
[console]# cpufreq-set -g ondemand[/console]

speedsteplib не включён в ядро.

p4_clockmod is pretty deprecated I think.

Попробуйте добавить его (acpi-cpufreq) в
Консоль:

/etc/modprobe.preload

скорее в /etc/modules
