проблема следующего характера(( не могу понять такое ощущение что не верно((
[root@localhost lexikon]# cyradm --user mailadmin --server localhost
Login disabled.
cyradm: cannot authenticate to server with as mailadmin
а если же использовать
[root@localhost lexikon]# cyradm --user mailadmin --server localhost --auth login
verify error:num=18:self signed certificate
IMAP Password:
localhost>
то вроде как подключается но это как то странно :/ и я не могу поставить предположим Веб морду работающую на IMAP - ругается при проверке что не может подключиться( такое ощущение что чего то не установлено((
заведен юзер в линуксе mailadmin
он же заведен в sasldb2

не может найти какой то механизм( что за механизм понятия не имею(( 2 день мозг на вынос
OC Fedora 12
в /etc/imapd.conf добавил
allowplaintext: yes
проблему исправило! стало подключатся нормально! но авторизация все равно не работает(( других юзеров

отвечает
0: NO "authentication failed"в этом то мне кажется и дело(( юзер вроде как есть а его не хочет аутифицировать(( видимо MECH=pam
что надо еще и в система юзера заводить? Оо как то все муторно(( для чего тогда база это не понять(
