Воспроизведение видео с использованием GPU

Наверное, не так уж и хорошо он поддерживает Xinerama
Давйте, на всякий случай перезапустим Х (перелогиньтесь)
а потом попробуйте запустить видео с Smplayer'om

durc, Без Xinerama так-же (отключил перед перезагрузкой). В SMPlaer стоит VDPAU и параметры MPlayer (vc=ffh264vdpau,ffmpeg12vdpau,ffwmv3vdpau,ffvc1vdpau,) + в .mplayer/config:

vo=vdpau,xv,
vc=ffh264vdpau,ffmpeg12vdpau,ffwmv3vdpau,ffvc1vdpau,
cachesize=8192
aspect="16:10"

И с другими файлами такая же ерунда?
Даже не знаю чем помочь.
В теории всё должно работать...


Если ещё cachesize=0 попробовать.
Кстати aspect="16:10" соотношение у Вас точно такое?

cachesize и aspect совсем убрал. В SMPlayer c vdpau ничего не играет. С vo=vdpau,xv, играет не всё. В основном отказываются видео с более высоким разрешением.

Выкладывайте тогда уж и /etc/X11/xorg.conf

ссылок море, но решения так и не увидел. Видимо это всеобщая бага.

Each hardware video GPU capable of VDPAU video acceleration requires a X11 software device driver to enable these features. Currently only second generation of PureVideo HD bit-stream processor in some of NVIDIA's GeForce 8 series and later graphics cards hardware that has support since the Beta device driver version 180.06.[4] Unsupported hardware from the GeForce 8 series includes the 8800GTS 320/640MB editions and the 8800GTX. Later cards based on the G9x series cores e.g. the 8400GS and the 8800GTS 512mb (G92 core) are supported. Nvidia currently has no plans to introduce support for the unsupported hardware.[8] All supported graphic devices are listed in Nvidia PureVideo.

Вот и возник вопрос, а какая карта.
Я выделил в тексте, но поясню - поддержка есть у 8800GTS 512mb (G92 core),
а вот 8800GTS 320/640MB с VDPAU пролетают.

HD видео проигрывается mplayer vdpuau ,без тормозов но 2х яд. проц грузится на 50-60%.
подскажите какие библиотеки кроме libvdpau1 должны быть установлены для правильного вывода видео. видео карта NVIDIA 9500GT driver 260.19.36

Возвращаюсь в тему, так как сменил видео-карту на GTX260, драйвер 260.19.36, но vdpau настроить не удалось.
Установлены пакеты:

• libvdpau1
• vdpau-va-driver
