Не могу заставить сабж печатать из-под Debian 6.0.5 amd64 :(
При отправке текста на печать, МФУ издает короткий (доли секунды), негромкий, характерный для начала работы лазерного принтера звук, потом тишина и окно ошибки печати. Принтер заведомо рабочий, на этом же ПК из-под Windows7 все печатает без вопросов.
"Система -> Администрирование -> Печать" принтер видит, определяет правильно.
В системе предустановлены cups 1.4.4-7+squeeze1 и hplip 3.10.6-2+squeeze1, принтер они видят и поддерживают - http://hplipopensource.com/hplip-web/models/laserjet/hp_laserjet_m1120n_mfp.html (последний hplip 3.12.6, но, мыслю, не в этом суть). Пользователь добавлен руками в группы lp и lpadmin.

Что интересно - в системе предустановлена программа xsane 0.997-2+b1 - она МФУ видит и замечательно сканирует!
