Debian стоит в виртуалке, на хосте Ubuntu.
Так всё нормально
[console]volch@home:~$ ssh volch@server.local
volch@server's password:
Linux server 2.6.32-5-amd64 #1 SMP Mon Jan 16 16:22:28 UTC 2012 x86_64

Last login: Sat Feb 4 12:45:33 2012 from 192.168.56.1
volch@server:~$ [/console]
Так не работает
[console]volch@home:~$ ssh root@server
root@server's password:
Permission denied, please try again.[/console]
Пароль верный, с самой виртуалки как root захожу без проблем, как volch делаю su тоже без проблем.
