Не могу установить дрова на видяху Radeon HD 3400, Squeeze

Скачал с офсайта проприетарные дрова под свою модель, зашел в консоль, остановил иксы, установил драйвер, вроде все гуд но в логе вот такие строчки:

Поставил build-essential linux-headers, ставил дрова с репозиториев xserver-xorg-video-radeon, ниче не помогает.

Подскажите куда копать, уже второй день бьюсь.
У меня когда окна передвигаешь, как слайд-шоу получается, и компиз из-за этого не работает

А чем не устраивают драйвера с репозитория Debian? Ветка non-free.
В список источников добавляете (если ее там нет) строку
deb http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian squeeze main non-free - это для стабильной ветки дистрибутива. 10-9.3 у меня работает на ура.

Вы уверены, что при установке не было никаких ошибок?

Это свободный драйвер. Закрытый - ati (точно название не помню). Как уже отметил utking, лучше ставить с репозиториев

Переустановил ось, установил xserver-xorg (автоматом подцепился xserver-xorg-video-radeon) gdm3 gnome-core
Окошечки стали нормально по экрану бегать, но компиз так и не заработал :(

Есть. Подключите ветки contrib и non-free.
Для Wheezy:

/etc/apt/sources.list написал:

Установил все, кроме fglrx-glx-ia32, не нашелся такой.
Теперь он мне пишет:

Fail to link to fglrx-libglx.so, please check whether driver is installed correctly[/console]
Я так понимаю нужно установить проприетарные дрова с офсайта?

С твоим конфигом ничего не изменилось.

Воощем, сделал так: [console]apt-get install fglrx-modules-dkms fglrx-driver fglrx-glx linux-header-xxx[/console] потом установил проприетарные дрова с офсайта
атиконфиг пишет это:
[console]# aticonfig --initial
Found fglrx primary device section
Using /etc/X11/xorg.conf[/console]
И теперь опять окна передвигаются как слайдшоу.

компиз отказывается работать:
[console]# compiz --replace
compiz (core) - Warn: SmcOpenConnection failed: None of the authentication protocols specified are supported
compiz (core) - Fatal: Root visual is not a GL visual
compiz (core) - Error: Failed to manage screen: 0

P.S. Немножко обманул, окна нормально передвигаются, слайд-шоу начинается когда сделаю compiz --replace

Попробуйте удалить fglrx полностью сначала (и пакеты и установщик), а потом вновь только через пакеты.

Ну вообщем..... поставил Ubuntu. все нормально стало работать :)
