Приобрел данный девайс на замену декстопу.
И самое главное не работает звук. В устройстве две звуковые карты одна HDA Intel (Realtek ALC269) вторая на видео посажена HD-Audio Generic (ATI ID aa01).
Куда копать, в какую сторону?

в чейнджлоге алсы есть исправления для ноутов Sony, в версии 1.0.23
надо качать с сайта alsa-project.org
[url]ftp://ftp.alsa-project.org/pub/driver/a[/url] … 24.tar.bz2 в общем, надо этот файл качать, а потом компилировать и устанавливать...
там понадобится linux-headers-`uname -r` и дальше ./configure потом ./make и ./make install
понеслась...

tar -xvvjf alsa-driver-1.0.24.tar.bz2

Теперь внимание
если при обновлении системы будет обновление пакета с ядром - linux-image-2.6.32-5-amd64, то звук отвалится и надо будет повторно скомпилировать и установить последнюю версию ALSA
КАРТРИДЕР заработал при обновлении системы!

Под уровнем громкости, если стоит ММ, то канал отключен, надо его выделить и нажать m.
Звук определился, нужно настраивать (alsamixer — добиться с помощью клавиши M, чтобы все каналы были 00)

Системой определился, в ядре не включен (или не подгружен модуль).
